After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, Riko joined the original cast of The Secret Silk, a musical produced by Stephen Schwartz. Her theatre credits include Whole Hog Theatre’s The Garden of Words (R&D), English National Opera’s Madame Butterfly, and Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Miss Saigon. She played a lead role in the psychological thriller short film Dumplings Over Flowers (Ego Productions).

Riko is passionate about storytelling in all its forms whether through dance, singing, puppetry, devised theatre, and beyond.

She appeared as SINGER in the RSC’s world premiere of My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican Centre, and most recently played series regular KEIKO in Season 3 of THE HEAD (HBO Max / Hulu Japan).

She is currently touring the US with The Mistake, a two-hander play exploring the moral and personal complexities of the Hiroshima bombing from the perspectives of those who built the bomb and those who lived through its aftermath.
